Collection: Destiny Series

Similar to Western zodiac signs and astrology, in ancient Eastern traditions, people recognized five elemental forces—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—through their observations of nature. These elements form the foundation of the world, and as humans are part of nature, they also shape human physiology, personality, and destiny through the interplay between nature and humanity. This is the essence of the Eastern "Wu Xing" theory (the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water).

Interestingly, while Western astrology and Eastern elemental divination differ in methodology, their predictions about human fate often align. In Eastern traditions, destiny is primarily analyzed through "Bazi (Eight Characters)", a fate model constructed from one’s birth time. It consists of four pairs of "Heavenly Stems" and "Earthly Branches" (year, month, day, hour), totaling eight characters. These characters correspond to the Five Elements and traditional Chinese calendrical systems. For example, "壬午 (Ren Wu)" translates to Water-Fire, "乙巳 (Yi Si)" to Wood-Fire, "辛卯 (Xin Mao)" to Metal-Wood, and "戊子 (Wu Zi)" to Earth-Water.
